Programs and initiatives
HCA is the largest purchaser of health care in Washington State. We serve more than 2.5 million people through our Apple Health (Medicaid), Public Employees Benefits Board (PEBB), and School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB) programs. We also provide behavioral health services to all residents of Washington State, regardless of insurance. For people enrolled in Apple Health, that's about 2.2 million people. Through a wide range of programs and initiatives, HCA ensures Washington residents access to better health, better care, and lower costs.
